Pretty, Rooster by Clay Matthews has a few cooks in the artistic kitchen: the foot on the cover is from a wire sculpture by San Diego's Spencer Little. The sculpture was photograph, with permission, by Misha M. Johnson, in the yard of one of the oldest homes in the neighborhood of Hillcrest.
You'll also find original comics (Yes! Comics!) by Shannon Wheeler (Too Much Coffee Man) and Micah Farritor (White Picket Fences). You'll also find other little surprises by Max Xiantu. Pretty, Rooster is now available from Cooper Dillon Books.
